This is another in my "Old Masters Colours" series which combines a high-realism main subject, abstract background and a limited palette of "old masters" colours. I wanted to try a still-life in this series and found it worked well. The method I use for the background means I have unlimited possibilities for creating movement, colour and texture and I think it makes "Reflections" really come alive.
