Taos Pueblo is the oldest, continuously inhabited dwelling in North America. We visited it in 2009 and learned about it's history and people. Hlauuma means the North House, (in this scene) and on the opposite side of the Rio Pueblo (the Pueblo's only water source) is the South House or Hlaukwima.
